THREAT INDEX 2024
MYTHIC PROTOCOL THREAT INDEX, 2024
Rank
Mythic
YoY Changes
Description
1
M-0011
Annual reminder that all personnel, activities, and logistics involving M-0011 and Site EDEN-Bravo are to be handled with utmost urgency and care.
2
M-0028
Threat ranking remains the same as last year, following record temperatures and diminishing ice within the Antarctic Exclusion zone. Naga and Maledictum research into cryostasis applications of Ianuanic energy is considered top priority.
3
M-0031
Threat ranking has been increased to three, with the corresponding Shade-Resurgence-Clock now at 10 seconds to midnight per MPIC review. While no Shade resurgence has been detected, the MPIC and Taskforce Grey believe in a high likelihood of occurrence within the year.
4
M-0072
Threat ranking increased due to confirmed reports of Vampire clan consolidation and migration. Protocol-Vampire relations have been in a political limbo since the 2018 confrontation in Siberian, with more and more Vampire clans refusing to register and submit for Protocol review. All-out-war is feared, and all operatives are warned to exercise political judgement when dealing with all M-0072 entities.
5
M-0038
Annual reminder that all personnel, activities, and logistics involving M-0011 and Site EDEN-Bravo are to be handled with utmost urgency and care.
6
M-0165
Recent escalation in conflicts in the Middle East and Europe may trigger another series of Rifts. Accordingly, the Mythic Protocol has embedded operatives in various military forces to pre-emptively assess and contain the threat should it arise following last year’s incident in Finland.
7
M-0068
Threat ranking raised to account for increased Nennoth worship and cult activity resulting in multiple mass-casualty events in 2023. MQRF support requests are recommended and prioritized for all engagements with the Cult of Nennoth. All members are considered armed and dangerous.
8
M-0019
Threat increased due to rising volcanic activity in known M-0019 miasma deposits. Additionally, the increasing number of deep mining operations operating outside of Protocol purview greatly increases the chance of uncovering a previously unknown deposit.
9
M-0429
Threat ranking increased following confirmed reports of direct casualties linked to the entity and the subsequence increased risk of a Delta-Contingency event. Additional cyber-analysts and tightened clearance systems recommended.
10
M-0046
No change in threat ranking, but we do note a rising number of unaffiliated feral werewolf attacks in remote population centres in North America and Europe. Additional wolf-hunts have been sanctioned by the Protocol Council and sign-ups have been opened to all operatives.
Threats presented in this index have been vetted and approved for all clearance levels by Mythic Protocol command.
